Intro to Pilates

Unsure where to start? This program is excellent as a supplement to your training for any level, or as an introduction to Pilates! We’ll focus on integrating breathing into movement and core strengthening.
This course includes 18, 30-minute classes which build from beginning to intermediate level Pilates. The classes are intended to be repeated multiple times (at least twice)to help build your foundation of Pilates. You can also take this course as 9, 60- minute classes, depending on what works best with your schedule. Following your purchase, you will have access to this course for 6 months so you can take and retake the classes as frequently as you desire.

Meet the Instructor

Ricki combines components from a variety of techniques, including Pilates and sports medicine, to provide a unique program geared towards safety and strengthening.

Richelle Stevenson, LAT ATC

Richelle (Ricki) Stevenson is a licensed athletic trainer (LAT), certified Pilates instructor and retired professional ballet dancer. In 2015, she graduated summa cum laude from Grand Canyon University with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training and a minor in dance education. She has several years of experience in sports medicine caring for athletes of all ages, covering emergency situations and developing rehabilitation programs. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in physical therapy from Tufts University School of Medicine. She and her husband now live in Connecticut with 2 pets and expect their daughter in July. Ricki founded The Barre and Beyond, LLC to bridge the gap in healthcare between injury recovery and fitness, helping dancers and non-dancers a-like.
